Robert Nacken, recording, live engineer

Raised  in Cologne and Zimbabwe, Robert Nacken kicked off the so called "new Jazz" movement at the tender age of 16 with his calssic "High Priestess" which was used as a blueprint by bands like Jazzanova or Trüby Trio. He then traveled extensively in Eastern and Central Africa undertaking musical research and released further material on the Drum n' Bass Label "Penny Black" in London. He then completed his studies as an Audio Engineer in Cologne. In 2006 he began work as a sound designer for the Installations of Rebecca Horn and Hayden Chisholm in the Gropius Bau Museum, Berlin.

His newest works have been released by "Spectrum Works" and "Inpartmaint Records" in Japan. He has also created music for German and Montenegro TV as well as international Cinema.
