Quirkily named after childrens’ punishment area, The Naughty Corner is a place for both young and old to take a break and cool off with some gelato.
The Naughty Corner is located in the neighborhood area of Hougang, and their flavors cater to both the young and the young at heart.
From sweet to sour, salty to bitter, they have you covered. Some of the crowd favourites include Cocoa (a mixture of bittersweet), Root Beer Float (a creamy delight for the kids), Tim Tam Slam (a nostalgic blast to the past), and Limetta Cheesecake (a mixture of sweet and sour).
For my double scoop gelato, I went with the popular Mango Sorbet and Strawberry fusion, and was pleasantly surprised at how well the flavors complemented each other. Each scoop of mango felt like a bite off the juicy tropical fruit. In contrast, the strawberry was more mellow in flavor. The berry taste was not too artificially overbearing, and it reminded me of the strawberry ice creams I had during my childhood.
In addition to gelato, The Naughty Corner recently launched the Stuffed Bubblewrap. Almost like egglets, the ones here are stuffed with flavors like Chocolate, Reese’s Peanut Butter, and Sea Salt Caramel.
For someone too fickle to choose, I went for all 3 flavors. This means that each individual egglet is randomly filled with either of the 3 flavors. From the salty caramel to the sweet chocolate, each bite carried a fresh surprise.
Sweet or sour, naughty or nice, there is always something for you at The Naughty Corner. The gelato are made in-house, and the flavors change on a rotational basis. This is where one can experience surprises at every corner!
